Healthy walking
A little drizzle didn't stop about 20 participants from taking a stroll Wednesday morning at Sunnybrook Assisted Living and Memory Care in Mt. Pleasant. The walk served a dual purpose. Not only was it part of a statewide initiative to encourage healthy and active living throughout Iowa, it also raised support and awareness for the National Alzheimer's Association.
