Henry County Democrats convene Saturday

Henry County Democrats will host their county convention Saturday, March 10, at the Mt. Pleasant Middle School Cafeteria, North Adams Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Delegates and alternates to the county convention were elected during the January caucuses. Delegates will be selected at the county convention for the district convention April 28 in Ft. Madison and the state convention in June.

County convention attendees will be briefed by elected officials and candidates, plan events leading to the June 5 primary election and Nov. 6 general election and elect local party officers.

Registration begins Saturday at 8:30 a.m. The convention is slated to run from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
