Mt. Pleasant Festival of Lights (Nov. 24-28, Dec. 1-31)
From 5:30-9 p.m., Since 2013, visitors of the Festival of Lights have enjoyed over 100 holiday light displays. Visitors can expect to see gingerbread men, tractors, candy canes, and Santa Claus himself along the 1.6-mile route across the Midwest Old Threshers grounds.
Visitors can meet Santa on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 5:30 to 9 p.m. starting Nov. 26 until Dec. 19.
“Gnome For the Holidays” Mt. Pleasant Holiday Parade (Dec. 2)
Starting at 5:15 p.m., after a one-year hiatus the Holiday Parade has returned. Parade goers will see gnomes, elves, and Santa will appear at the end of the parade.
Featured in the parade will be student groups, community leaders, and decorative vehicles. Following the parade, Holiday on Main will take place, hosted by Main Street Mt. Pleasant.
The parade will begin on Jefferson behind the Methodist Church and will move south on Jefferson to Monroe Street. It will then turn and go east to Main Street. The parade will then head back north to the church and will end at Saunders Street.

Holiday on Main (Dec. 2)
From 5-8 p.m., Join Main Street Mount Pleasant for Holiday on Main following the Holiday Parade. There will be kid's activities including, carolers, celebration cloggers, chestnuts roasting over an open Fire, and much more.
North Pole Express-Midwest Central Railroad (Dec. 4-19 on Saturdays and Sundays)
Saturdays: 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m. departure times.
Sundays: 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. departure times.
The North Pole Express allows visitors to take a wintry holiday Christmas trip around the Midwest Old Threshers grounds.

New London Holiday Stroll (Dec. 11)
The New London Holiday Stroll is back this year with a wide selection of things to do.
There will carriage rides, an ice carver, dancers, carolers, and possibly a festival of lights. An Ice Prince and Princess contest will be held during the event also.
There will be hot chocolate with s’mores, and walking tacos for food. Santa will be making an appearance too.
