Henry County Republican Women meet
The Henry County Republican Women met on June 11, at Sunrise Terrace in Winfield.
Devotions were given by Carol Messer. President Sandra Kongable conducted the meeting. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Reports were given and approved. Discussion included election results and the July 14 tea at Terrace Hill.

The Henry County Republican Women met on June 11, at Sunrise Terrace in Winfield.
Devotions were given by Carol Messer. President Sandra Kongable conducted the meeting. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Reports were given and approved. Discussion included election results and the July 14 tea at Terrace Hill.
The program was by Rosemary Harris portraying the flight instructor and friend to young American Aviatrix Amelia Earhart, who made a number of outstanding flights, including solo flights from Newfoundland to Ireland in 1932 and from Hawaii to California in 1935. In 1937, she was lost at sea while bound on an eastward flight around the world.
The next meeting will be Sept. 10, at Mi Pueblo Real at 11 a.m. with candidates present at noon. The meeting is open to the public.
