Henry County returns to regular immunization schedule
May. 26, 2021 12:36 pm
Henry County Public Health’s immunization clinics are returning to their regular schedule in June with a few updates.
Clinics will be held on Tuesdays from 9-11 a.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1-4 p.m., and the first and third Thursday of each month from 1-6 p.m.
The COVID-19 vaccine (currently only Moderna or J & Janssen) will now be available during any of these clinic times for anyone 18 and older.
There is also a new process to check-in online at HealthyHenryCounty.org/immunizations before you come to reduce the number of people in the waiting room.
You can download the “Net Check In — Henry County” app for Android and Apple. This process allows you to see the current wait time and once you check-in, staff will alert you when they are ready for you to come inside.
“If you put off well-child visits or getting your immunizations last year, now is the time to get caught back up,” said Robin Poole, immunization coordinator. “Vaccines are safe, effective, and they save lives.”
Children age 0-18 enrolled in Medicaid, uninsured, or underinsured are eligible for regular childhood vaccines at no charge. Learn more at HealthyHenryCounty.org/immunizations.
