Henry County Sheriff?s Office responds to three car accidents involving deer
Two deer strike one car
Austin R. Veldboom, no age given, of New London reported to the Henry County Sheriff?s Office that his vehicle was struck by two deer on Salem Road near Kentucky Avenue late Saturday evening, Feb. 4 at approximately 11:30 p.m.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
Damages to the 2002 Jaguar he was operating were estimated at $1,450.

Two deer strike one car
Austin R. Veldboom, no age given, of New London reported to the Henry County Sheriff?s Office that his vehicle was struck by two deer on Salem Road near Kentucky Avenue late Saturday evening, Feb. 4 at approximately 11:30 p.m.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
Damages to the 2002 Jaguar he was operating were estimated at $1,450.
Early morning accident
Shortly after 1 a.m. on Feb. 5 Michael J. Shelledy, no age given, of Winfield reported hitting a deer with his 2001 Dodge Dakota in the 2500 grid of Racine Avenue.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
Damage to the Dakota was estimated at $2,500.
Minor accident last night
A minor car accident involving a deer was investigated last night in the 2500 grid of Racine Avenue.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m., Feb. 7. A 2000 Pontiac Sunfire operated by Gage Dean Ingwersen, 20, of New London sustained minor front bumper damage.
Ingwersen, who was northbound at the time of the accident, was not injured.
