Heritage Pharmacy-Mt. Pleasant to open April 4

MT. PLEASANT — Henry County Health Center announced that Heritage Pharmacy — Mt. Pleasant will open on the HCHC campus Tuesday, April 4. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

The pharmacy is located in Henry County Health Center and offers easy prescription pickup after appointments, curbside pickup, and medication home delivery in Mt. Pleasant and surrounding communities. Patients can order refills and get prescription information online or by telephone. Additional services will be added in the future.

Allison Jones, Pharm.D., will be the pharmacist at Heritage Pharmacy — Mt. Pleasant.

Jones grew up in Southeast Iowa, and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. She has worked in retail pharmacy since 2006 and is looking forward to working alongside the physicians, advanced practice providers and staff at Henry County Health Center.

“I am so excited to be joining the Heritage Pharmacy family for many reasons. Growing up in Danville, I have always appreciated this healthcare system in my hometown area. I love the idea of a smaller, less commercial pharmacy that excels in providing personalized care to patients. Mt. Pleasant is a great community and I look forward to getting to know the patients, their healthcare needs and providing them with that personalized care,” said Jones.

Heritage Pharmacy — Mt. Pleasant is locally owned and operated by Great River Health System. The four Heritage Pharmacies are part of the nationwide Health Mart pharmacies group, which provides pricing and technology benefits to customers. Additional Heritage Pharmacies include Heritage Family Pharmacy, Heritage Park Pharmacy and Heritage Partners Pharmacy, all located in West Burlington.
