Fairfield High School held its Thursday Night Showcase at Trojan Stadium Thursday night, at which the Homecoming King and Queen were announced.
This year’s lucky winners are Ryan Higgins and Ivy Larsen.
According to information on the school district’s website, Higgins is the son of Rob and Michelle Higgins. He is involved in cross country, basketball, track, Vox, Jazz Choir, and Students for Change. Ryan plans to attend college and major in political science.
Larsen is the daughter of Jen Larsen and Cory Larsen. She is involved in Vox, is captain of girls soccer, Jazz choir, swimming, volleyball and FBLA. Ivy plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and major in architecture.
In addition to the coronation, the Thursday Night Showcase included a dunk tank for coaches and administrators, a Powder Puff football game (won by the junior class), and performances by the cheerleaders and marching band.
