Highland to stage ‘Beauty and Beast’

Highland Fine Arts Department will present the musical, 'Beauty and the Beast.”

Numerous students in the Highland student body are performing in one of the largest musical productions Highland has ever produced, some having never participated in any musical activities. The cast includes: Shantall Avendano as Belle, Isaac Black as Gaston, Jacob Allen as Lumiere, Kyle Whestine as Cogsworth and Adrie Clendineng as Mrs. Potts.

The community and Fine Arts Boosters have rallied and volunteered to donate time, props and other items to make the show a success and give the students something to look forward to during the pandemic. Students have had a variety of masked, distanced and virtual rehearsals, as well as full rehearsals.

The production will take place at 7 p.m. on March 26 and 27 in the gymnasium. Audiences will have a mask requirement.
