How will your high school experiences help you in coming years?
My experiences in high school have impacted me in a good way and have helped me to grow into the person I want to be. Interactions with m peers, teachers, and others will prepare me for the years to come.
Fondest memory of high school?
When I was put into a small group to learn about racism and cultural differences. We heard speakers, participated in activities and went to interesting museums.
Which teacher have had the biggest impact on your education and why?
My sophomore English teacher has had an important impact on me because he encouraged me through my darkest time and introduced be to some life-changing books.
Who is your role model and how did they influence you?
My role model has been any student in the school who isn’t afraid to be themselves and values friendship over popularity. This has encouraged me to do the same.
What is special about your high school?
My high school environment is built like a family. Students are ver close with each other and staff is there to help you whenever you need it, no matter what you may be going through.
If you could go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself?
I would tell myself to not worry what others think of you and don’t let this worry steal your joy. Try hard and show your light.
