Just a reminder : The Henry County Board of Supervisors will hold a town meeting at the Hillsboro Community Center on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend this meeting.

Mrs. Hayes also donated a few other Nora Roberts books and we replaced them with our older, well-read versions. Thank you!

It was sleep over time for cousins Kelly Carter, Hannah Reinier and Brandi Kennedy. On Thursday night they spent the night at Nick and Terri Reinier?s. Then on Friday night they spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa Ernie Reinier?s.

Grandma fixed everyone?s favorite tacos for supper and the girls enjoyed an evening of makeup and taking pictures while Hannah watched movies, and I must say they were not a noisy as I had expected.

On Saturday Gene and Linda Carter took Kelly Carter, Hannah Reinier and Brandi Kennedy to the Mule Festival in Missouri. Everyone had a great time.

Bob and Christie Reinier returned home on Sunday after spending time with their son Rodney and Family in O?Fallon, Ill. Rodney has purchased an acreage and they are remodeling the house and Bob and Christie along with daughter in law Barb and granddaughter Meggan all worked to help Rodney.
