History day winners
Two Mt. Pleasant Middle School students ? Aurora Vansickel and Claire Holtkamp ? won the National History Day in Iowa contest, hosted earlier this week, in the junior group exhibit category.
With the win, Vansickel and Holtkamp will advance to the National History Day National Finals in June at the University of Maryland.
