All federal, state, county and local government offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 2, in observance of Labor Day.
The holiday will also close financial institutions and area post offices.
City of Mt. Pleasant offices will be closed and garbage pickup will be one day later this week.
The Mt. Pleasant News office will be closed and The News will not be published on Monday.
