HOMEgirl Realty celebrates opening

WASHINGTON — Real estate brokerage HOMEgirl Realty LLC held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with friends, family members and Chamber ambassadors Tuesday, celebrating the office’s opening in March of this year.

“We are so happy to be here,” said Broker Associate Charla Howard, one of the office’s three team members, alongside Broker Associate Heather Marek and Managing Broker Melissa Westphal, who have a combined total of over 80 years of real estate experience. “Between us and our families, and all the years that we’ve been together, we’re finally doing what’s good for us, and we’re very, very happy.”

Westphal said the business was the product of “three friends with a vision,” which she was proud to be a part of.

“It was time for a change, and so here we are,” she said. “And luckily, I already owned the building!”
