Horse and buggy go missing

A horse and buggy disappeared from the Kalona Sale Barn Monday night, according to a Washington County Sheriff’s Office report.
“Caller reports that their horse and buggy are missing from the Kalona Sale Barn,” the dispatch log said. “(An officer) responded and assisted the subjects with the search but they were unable to locate.”
The report does not indicate, whether the animal and vehicle were suspected stolen or wandered off, but the incident was officially cataloged as an animal on the loose.
