WASHINGTON — Hospice of Washington County will hold its annual trivia fundraiser Friday night at Dallmeyer Hall on the Washington County Fairgrounds.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the event, which starts at 7 and will feature hospice staff dressed following a ‘90s theme. HWC Office Administrator Tiffany Crawford said turning out for the night was a great way to support a great cause.
“Hospice of Washington County is a not-for-profit hospice,” she said. “Trivia Night and other fundraisers help us offset the costs of patient care for those without insurance or (who are) underinsured.”
A post on the hospice group’s Facebook page said costumes were encouraged, noting that participants could bring their own beverages and enjoy snacks in exchange for freewill donations. Teams of 4-10 players can enter, for $10 per person. There will also be a 50/50 raffle.
A flyer for the event advertised prizes for the winning team, the losing team, best team costumes, best couple costumes, and best individual costume.
