Hospice ribbons go up around square
WASHINGTON — Purple ribbons once again adorn the streetlights around Washington’s downtown, holding up Hospice of Washington County flyers for hospice awareness month.
“Throughout November, we like to make people aware of facts about hospice and when to contact hospice,” said Hospice of Washington County Office Administrator Tiffany Crawford, who said the flyers also included contact information for her organization.
Washington City Council members approved the request to install the ribbons at a meeting on Nov. 7.
