Ide Gymnastics hosts AAU trampoline and tumbling meet

FAIRFIELD — Ide Gymnastics in Fairfield hosted an AAU trampoline and tumbling meet on Nov. 13 at Cardinal High School in Eldon, Iowa.
The competition's theme was Salute to the Military, to pay homage to those who have served.
Sgt. Alex Rebling of the Iowa Army National Guard, 34 Army Band of Fairfield, sang the national anthem.
Sgt. Kyle Green, a recruiter from the National Guard, also made donations to support the theme.
Each of the athletes competed in their own skill and age range. The event featured a trampoline, double mini-trampoline and single mini-trampoline.
The skill levels are rated as beginner, novice, intermediate, sub advanced, advanced and elite.
The gymnasts performed exceptionally well, as many finished the competition at the top.
Elaina Miller, called the "hat trick," received a first-place finish in all three events, trampoline, double mini-trampoline and single mini trampoline in the beginner level.
Coach Marissa Rupe placed first overall in both trampoline and double mini-trampoline at the elite level.
Squad Leader Skylar Smith and Kaylee Wright did the same in the intermediate trampoline and sub-advanced double mini-trampoline.
Team captain Elisha Vander Linden also had top performances in both at the novice boys level. Riley Lathrop has first places in double mini-trampoline and single mini-trampoline in the novice level.
Dawson Wiggins placed first in trampoline and double mini-trampoline in the novice level. Levon Smith has first place finishes in double mini and single mini trampoline and Jacob Wallace in trampoline and single mini trampoline both in the beginner boy level.
Vera Smith received first place in trampoline and single mini trampoline, both in the beginner level.
Randi Ellis, Renleigh Forrett and Bristol Sobaski received first place in single mini-trampoline at the beginner level.
Ashlynn Adrian finished in first place on the single mini trampoline in the sub-advanced level. Nadia Royer, Brooklyn Ledger, and Kamryn Tharp all placed first in double mini-trampoline at the beginner level.
Ashley Lyons had a first place finish on double mini trampoline at the intermediate level.
Team captain Hannah Gerdes and Sophia Zugg placed first on the trampoline in the novice level and team captain Audrey Robinson in the sub-advanced group.
In second place were Harper Clubb, Harper Haumersen, Scarlet Pappas and Emma Keil in single mini-trampoline beginner level.
Kiley Metcalf and Eliana Ferdig both finished in second on beginner trampoline. Katelyn Brecount finished second place in double mini-trampoline at the intermediate level.
Third-place winners in the single mini-trampoline beginner level were Vada Curran and Alleigh Pilcher. Taking third in beginner trampoline were Aurora Rodriguez, Phoebe Sorak and Kaitlyn Jensen including double mini-trampoline.
Reagan Wise had a third-place finish in novice-level trampoline. Sophia Zugg finished in third on double mini-trampoline in the novice level, and Alyson Lilley placed third in the intermediate level.
Madilynn Wallace, Emerson Kite and Kayona Krochak all placed fourth in single mini-trampoline in the beginner level. Madilyn Smithart finished in fifth in single mini-trampoline beginner level. Charley Metcalf and Kolby McCarty a fifth in trampoline beginner level.
Sixth, seventh and eighth place winners were Madilyn McCarty, Adalyn Williams and Johnnie Campbell in single mini trampoline beginner level.
