Inmate faces new charge
Brian Calvin, 31, of Columbus Junction, an inmate at the Henry County Jail, has been charged with violation of an order of protection, a simple misdemeanor.
According to a Henry County Sheriff?s Office release, deputies were informed on Sunday, Sept. 27, by jail staff that a possible violation of an order of protection had occurred from inside the county jail.

Brian Calvin, 31, of Columbus Junction, an inmate at the Henry County Jail, has been charged with violation of an order of protection, a simple misdemeanor.
According to a Henry County Sheriff?s Office release, deputies were informed on Sunday, Sept. 27, by jail staff that a possible violation of an order of protection had occurred from inside the county jail.
An investigation revealed that Calvin had placed several phone calls to the protected party of that order.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
