Intersection to be closed
The South Haynes Street intersection at Washington Street in Mt. Pleasant and the state corrections institute entrance will be temporarily closed beginning Thursday, Sept. 8, while pavement is being removed.
City officials said it will reopen Friday with gravel access.
Heather Estates Subdivision and state corrections staff and visitors will have to use the entrance on South Grand Avenue for access.
