Investigation results in robbery, drug charges

As a result of an investigation of an alleged robbery at gunpoint in Winfield, two people were arrested and charged with delivery of a controlled substance (marijuana) and three people charged with second-degree robbery.
On Friday, Jan. 24 at approximately 2:30 a.m., Shane Yetter, 27, New London, and Trevor French, 20, Burlington, alerted the Winfield Police Department that they had allegedly been robbed at gunpoint in the Casey?s General Store Parking lot.
The investigation of the alleged robbery led police officers to Wapello, where a juvenile female from Oakville, Junior Ponce, 19, Wapello, and Alezzandro Campbell, 20, Wapello, were all charged with second degree robbery.
As a result of further investigation, Yetter and French were also arrested. They were charged with delivery of a controlled substance (marijuana).
The Winfield Police Department was assisted by the Henry County Sheriff?s Office, Louisa County Sheriff?s Office and Wapello Police Department.
