Iowa DOT offices closing for Veterans Day Nov. 11

The Iowa Department of Transportation will be closing offices in observance of Veterans Day.

All business locations will be closed Nov. 11.

All IDOT driver?s license stations will be closed Nov. 9 and Nov. 11 (offices are normally closed on Mondays). The stations will resume operation at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 12.

The IDOT?s Office of Vehicle and Motor Carrier Services, normally open Monday through Friday, will be closed Nov. 11. Normal business hours will resume at 8 a.m. Nov. 12.

The Office of Vehicle and Motor Carrier Services? permit center in Ankeny, is a one-stop source for fuel, trip, and oversize load permits; International Registration Plan registration; International Fuel Tax Agreement licensing; and travel authority needed by motor carriers and commercial vehicle operators to operate in Iowa.
