Iowa group says bicycles stolen in San Diego
DES MOINES (AP) ? The organizer of a 3,000 mile cross-country bicycle ride by a group from Iowa says most of their bicycles were stolen in San Diego.
The Des Moines Register reports that five of the group?s six bikes were stolen from the team?s trailer. The trailer was found broken open Monday morning, with computers and other gear also taken.

Group member Bob German wrote on his blog that they plan to replace their bikes and continue with their trip.
