Iowa State Bank’s Scott Willman to chair Iowa Bankers Compliance Committee

Scott Willman, Vice President of Compliance for Iowa State Bank & Trust in Fairfield, has been named the chair of the Iowa Bankers Association's (IBA) Compliance Committee for 2024-2025. The committee provides comment and feedback on state and federal regulatory initiatives, and recommends programs and products that enable banks to better manage their compliance needs.

“We’re pleased to have Willman leading our Compliance Committee during this year. His expertise and commitment will provide valuable direction in the area of compliance for the Iowa banking industry,” said Julie Gliha, committee liaison for the Iowa Bankers Association.

Scott has been with Iowa State Bank & Trust since 2018 as leader of the compliance department. He is very honored to take on the role of chair, stating “I’m looking forward to sharing ideas from organization in southeast Iowa through a well respected organization that has a direct connection to our statewide and federally elected leaders.”
