Iowa surpasses 5,000 COVID-19 cases across the state

As of Saturday, Iowa now has more than 5,000 cases of COVID-19 in total.
The state saw its newest, largest one-day jump in cases with 648 new cases on Saturday, bringing Iowa's total number to 5,092.
There was also five additional deaths across the state, bringing the state total number of deaths to 112. Saturday's deaths were in Black Hawk, Johnson, Polk and Scott Counties.
Locally, Washington County has 132 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Henry County has 31 and Jefferson County has six according to Saturday's data from the Iowa Department of Public Health.
