Iowa Wesleyan College launching two new online bachelor's programs

Iowa Wesleyan College is launching two new online bachelor?s degree completion programs in Business Administration and Human Services.

Students can now complete three degree programs entirely online through Iowa Wesleyan.

Offered through the Adult and Graduate Studies program, these programs now accompany Wesleyan?s RN-to-BSN online program as the institution broadens access to adult learners throughout the region who wish to pursue bachelor?s degrees. For adults with little or no college experience or who do not need a four-year college degree, certificate options in general business essentials and human service studies are also available online.

?These new online programs offer students a wider array of bachelor degree options that can be pursued without having to travel to campus sites ? thus saving the time and cost of travel ? as well as possibly saving on other related expenses such as childcare,? according to David C. File, dean of adult and graduate studies at Iowa Wesleyan. He further remarked, ?degree coursework through Wesleyan is now available 24/7.?

Coupled with the college?s accelerated eight-week academic sessions and five rolling start times during the year, quality and convenience for adult learners are merging for adult students throughout the region.

The Adult and Graduate Studies Program provides learning services ranging from bachelor degree completion programs for working adults to certificate programs and summer school. Iowa Wesleyan has long-standing articulation agreements with area community colleges which make for smooth transfer of credits from Associate degree programs into Wesleyan?s Bachelor of Science degrees.
