Iowa Wesleyan hits COVID 18 percent positivity rate

MT. PLEASANT - Iowa Wesleyan University reports an additional 14 positive coronavirus cases.
According to the university's COVID-19 dashboard, the school conducted a total of 64 tests the week of Oct. 5, with 13 students and a faculty and staff member testing positive.
Since the campus reopened, the university has conducted a total of 642 tests and reports a 18.3 percent positivity rate. 118 students have tested positive alongside nine faculty and staff.
As of Monday at 3 p.m., eight of the 48 total isolation spaces on campus are in use.
