Iowa Wesleyan University is among the nation?s leading colleges in providing access to affordable education for its students.
According to the ?Student Loan Report,? IW ranked 110 nationwide among private colleges in the lowest student loan debt.
?Our goal is to provide the most comprehensive education while ensuring students are able to obtain a degree as affordable as possible,? said Nick Boone, IW vice president of enrollment. ?We are extremely pleased to be recognized by the Student Loan Report to be among the best in the nation in providing low debt education. Iowa Wesleyan strives to help make college accessible for all students and pricing is one of these methods.?
The Student Report ranked 250 private colleges and the schools were evaluated based on two factors: percentage of students with private debt and average private debt per borrower. IW students average $1,470.48 per year in private debt.
Boone said the survey demonstrates Iowa Wesleyan offers high-quality education at a reasonable price.
