James Herbert Specketer, 69, of Keosauqua, died on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at the Keosauqua Health Care Center.
His body has been cremated. No services will be held.

Specketer was born on Nov. 23, 1946, in Burlington, the son of Herbert Eugene and Myrtle (Bannier) Specketer. He served in the United States Army and worked as a carpenter.
He enjoyed fishing.
Specketer is survived by his three sisters, Mary Grelk, of Donnellson; Shirley Wiley, of Burlington; and Charlotte Hovenec, of Freedom, Penn.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
