Janet Ledbetter, 61, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Keosauqua Health Care Center, in Keosauqua.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2017, from noon to 1:30 p.m., at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Jeff McPheron officiating.

Janet Ledbetter, 61, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Keosauqua Health Care Center, in Keosauqua.

Ledbetter was born on July 29, 1955, in Mt. Pleasant, she was the daughter of Archie Clifton and Waneta (Hines) Ledbetter. She attended school in Mt. Pleasant through eighth grade, then went to Hope Haven Development Center, in Burlington.
She worked at Hope Haven and later at Dave?s Super Valu, in Mt. Pleasant, until the store closed.
She enjoyed animals, volunteering at PAWS in Ft. Madison and Burlington, word search puzzles, coloring books, the Disney Channel, watching movies, and baking for family and friends.
Ledbetter is survived by her brother, John Ledbetter, of Mt. Pleasant.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
