FAIRFIELD — Jefferson County Health Center and Libertyville Savings Bank have been named among the Top Workplaces in Iowa by The Des Moines Register.
This marks the eighth time JCHC has received the honor, and the ninth year in a row that Libertyville Savings Bank has.
Libertyville Savings Bank CEO Jill Burnett stated in a news release, “We are honored to be a Top Workplace for the 9th straight year. I am proud of our employees who make our fun culture possible.”
Bryan Hunger, CEO of JCHC, said in a news release that, just as the health center delivers quality care to its patients, it strives to be a quality employer to the nearly 400 people who work there.
“Being named a Top Workplace is a visible reflection of our efforts to maintain an inclusive, positive environment for our staff, where people can look forward to coming to work every day,” Hunger said.
The Top Workplace winners are determined solely from employee feedback delivered by an engagement survey. JCHC employees anonymously completed the survey in April, and employers that score the highest across 15 unique criteria are named Top Workplaces.
“This award shows that our employees are highly engaged with the work they do and care they provide,” said Jacque Bookin-Nosbisch, Chief Nursing Officer at JCHC. “That leads to better outcomes for our patients.”
JCHC was previously selected as a Top Workplace in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2021.
Energage, a third-party source, conducts the anonymous survey of employees, which measures 15 culture drivers that are “critical to the success of any organization.”
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” read a statement by Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
