Jefferson County Conservation to host ‘Tap the Sap’
Help tap a few maple trees and gather sap! Come learn the maple syruping process from start to finish in this small backyard operation on Monday, Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. at the Jefferson County Nature Center.
The program involves a short hike. Please dress appropriately. This program is being held on the Fairfield Community School District Teacher Inservice Day but is open to all the public. All ages are welcome for this free event.
Participants should meet at the Camp Kyle Amphitheater behind the Jefferson County Park Nature Center.
