Approximately 2,000 people attended the 2023 Trunk or Treat at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Fairfield on Friday, Oct. 27. In addition, numerous volunteers also assisted with the event. Trunk or Treat participants had the opportunity to walk through the hog barn, which had trailers and tables set up by 4-H clubs and the Jefferson County Fair Board, as well as Halloween decorations, and information about 4-H animal project areas.
Participants were able to travel around the grounds to each trunk and table to get candy, books, and more. They also could play games, get free popcorn, sing karaoke- sponsored by Revive Entertainment Complex, watch a dance performance from High Temperature Dance Academy, or have their photo taken by Double M Photography.
