Jefferson County Fair Parade is Tuesday
The Greater Jefferson County Fair runs from June 19-26 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Fairfield.
To help kick off the event, the Greater Jefferson County Fair Parade will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 20 in the downtown. However, residents should be aware that the parade will follow a new route this year.
Instead of beginning at the fairgrounds like it has in years past, this year’s parade will be shorter, and will begin at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center. The tractors, floats and other participants will head east on Hempstead Avenue, south on B Street, west on Broadway Avenue, north on Main Street and then finish back at the arts center.
