This February, Jefferson County Health Center (JCHC) is hosting the Souper Bowl Challenge, a month-long food drive designed to help tackle hunger in our community.
Starting Feb. 1, JCHC departments will compete in a bracket-style competition to collect the most canned food donations and encourage the participation of the local community.
The community is invited to join the fun by donating non-perishable food items at JCHC’s main lobby throughout February. Feel free to support your favorite staff member or department by placing your donations in the designated bins or support the cause and donate to any of our teams. All donations will support the JCHC Little Free Pantry and other local food pantries, ensuring families in need have access to food.
How it Works:
- Canned food donations can be dropped off in the JCHC Lobby.
- Weekly Weigh-Ins will determine which departments advance to the next round.
- The final week of February will feature a championship round, with the winning department earning the Souper Bowl Title.
“This is more than just a competition – it is a chance for our community to come together, support our neighbors in need, and make a real impact,” said Laura Stacy, JCHC Community Team Member and Souper Bowl Co-Coordinator.
