Jobless rate in Henry County decreases by .2 percent in July, now 4.8 percent
Henry County unemployment dropped by two-tenths of a percent to 4.8 percent in July from June?s 5 percent figure.
Unemployment in Iowa, however, showed a slight rise last month, finishing at 4.5 percent compared with 4.4 percent in June.
July?s unemployment figures, released Tuesday, were a mixed bag for southeast Iowa with about an even number of counties showing either slight increases or miniscule decreases.
