John W. Graber, 76, of the Trenton community, died on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at his home.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m., on Friday, March 18, 2016, at the Trenton Missionary Church, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., that evening. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., on Saturday, March 19, at the Trenton Missionary Church, with Rev. David Forrester officiating.

John W. Graber, 76, of the Trenton community, died on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at his home.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m., on Friday, March 18, 2016, at the Trenton Missionary Church, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., that evening. Graber was born on April 8, 1938, in rural Trenton, the son of Joseph Lloyd and Alice (Brannon) Graber. He attended Eagle Country School and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1957. On Dec. 21, 1995, he married Sherry Myers Moser at the Trenton Missionary Church.
A lifelong farmer, he worked the family?s century farm and raised livestock until he retired.
He attended the Trenton Missionary Church.
He enjoyed being an Iowa Hawkeye Basketball and a St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Graber is survived by his wife, Sherry; four step-children, Randy Moser; Ryan (Melissa) Moser; Rodney Moser; and Jennifer (Matthew) Harvey, all of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and three sisters, Ruth (Max) Wyse, of Wayland; Marilyn Davison, of Mt. Pleasant; and Josephine (Charles) Conner, of Mt. Pleasant.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kenneth Graber; and a sister, Esther Hirschy.
