Joyce Kay Morrison, 77, of West Burlington and formerly of New London, died on Monday, June 20, 2016, at Klein Center, in West Burlington.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Elliott Chapel, in New London. Rev. Dean Graber will officiate. Burial will be in Burge Cemetery, in rural New London. Visitation will be held on Wednesday after 4 p.m., until 8 p.m., at the Chapel. The ...

Joyce Kay Morrison, 77, of West Burlington and formerly of New London, died on Monday, June 20, 2016, at Klein Center, in West Burlington.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Elliott Chapel, in New London. Rev. Dean Graber will officiate. Burial will be in Burge Cemetery, in rural New London. Visitation will be held on Wednesday after 4 p.m., until 8 p.m., at the Chapel. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9:30 a.m., until time of the service.
A memorial has been established.
Morrison was born on Dec. 6, 1938, in Iowa City, the daughter of Carl and Bernice Garmoe Speidel. On March 20, 1958, she married Doyle Morrison. He preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Burlington High School.
She was a homemaker and also assisted her husband in their own business.
She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
She was of the Christian faith.
Morrison is survived by two daughters, Denise Myers, of Sperry; and Jolene Morrison, of West Burlington; one son, Dan (Sandra) Morrison, of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one granddaughter.
