An officer reported being out with several vehicles parked in a no-parking zone, Tuesday morning at East 11th Street in Washington. Subjects were advised and were going to move the vehicles.
A caller Tuesday evening at Highway 22 in Riverside reported being rear-ended by another vehicle. An officer responded and spoke to both subjects. Information was traded. Damages exceeded $1,500. A state report will be filed.
Fire calls
A caller Tuesday night at South Iowa Avenue in Washington reported a carbon monoxide detector going off in the house. Two officers and the Washington Fire Department all responded. There was no gas in the house.
Animal complaint
A caller Tuesday afternoon at North Marion Avenue in Washington reported a loose dog. An officer responded. The dog was tied up before the officer's arrival, and the officer was disregarded.
Assault
A caller Tuesday morning at Tulip Avenue in Riverside reported that his nephew assaulted him, and requested a deputy. An officer spoke with both subject. There were conflicting stories and no evidence of an assault. The caller was going to assist the nephew in getting to Iowa City.

A caller Tuesday night at South Eighth Avenue in Washington reported a loud party at his neighbor's residence. Three officers responded and spoke to the owner, who advised that he would keep quiet.
Drug/narcotics violation
A caller Tuesday night at South Fourth Avenue in Washington reported an odor outside of her house. An officer responded. The odor was a neighbor burning yard waste.
Runaways/missing person
A caller Tuesday night at A Avenue in Kalona reported that his nephew ran away from the house multiple times that day. An officer responded and transported the subject to Four Oaks in Iowa City.
Sexual child abuse
A caller Tuesday morning at East Washington Street in Washington reported a child sexual abuse. The report is under investigation.
Vandalism
A caller Tuesday afternoon at Tulip Avenue in Riverside reported that his nephew's wife damaged his tablet, and requested to speak with a deputy. An officer responded and spoke with the caller. Documentation was made.
All other offenses
A caller Tuesday afternoon at North Marion Avenue reported an abandoned bicycle in her yard. It was a black 10-speed with a basket. An officer responded and transported the bike to the bike shed.
A caller Tuesday afternoon at South Main Street in Crawfordsville reported missing two dealer license plates. Documentation only was made.
A caller Tuesday afternoon at North Fifth Avenue in Washington reported that his neighbor was burning a fire in his backyard, and the smoke was coming into his house. An officer responded and spoke to the subject who was doing burning. The officer advised that he was following city ordinance.
