Assault
A caller Sunday morning at Highway 22 in Riverside reported that a 21-year-old female was kicked in the ribs by her ex-boyfriend, who had left the casino driving a newer white Chevrolet Impala. An officer, Riverside QRS and an ambulance responded. The ambulance was disregarded. A report will be filed.
A caller Sunday afternoon at South Seventh Avenue in Washington reported that she was assaulted. The parties were separated, and she did not need medical attention. Two officers responded. The female party was going to go back home to West Chester. Documentation was made.
Two subjects were reported having a verbal fight at the pool, Sunday afternoon at West Madison Street in Washington. Two officers responded. One juvenile had been banned from the pool for a week.
Disabled vehicles
An officer reported being out with a disabled vehicle, early Monday morning at Highway 1 in Brighton. The driver was waiting for a phone call.
Family offense nonviolent
A caller early Monday morning at Railroad Street in Riverside reported that her boyfriend had been screaming at her and threatening her for about 10 to 15 minutes. Two Washington County officers and a Johnson County deputy responded. The female left the residence for the night and did not want to pursue charges.
Intimidation/harassment
A caller Sunday afternoon at North Eighth Avenue in Washington reported that a subject was sending her harassing, threatening messages. An officer spoke to the caller and took screen shots of the messages to pass on to the appropriate department.
Liquor law violations
A caller Sunday morning at Highway 92 in Ainsworth reported an unruly male subject who opened a container of alcohol and was consuming in the store. An officer responded and gave the subject a ride to Olds.
Public service/contacts
A caller Sunday morning at Highway 1 in Washington reported a male subject walking down the middle of the highway wearing black shorts, no shirt, and a red cap. Two officers responded. The subject was given a ride to McDonald's.
Trespass
A caller Sunday night at East Second Street in Riverside reported a white male with a gray hoodie and jeans was on their property and up near their residence, looking inside. An officer responded. The information was documented.
Vandalism
A caller Sunday night at East Van Buren Street in Washington reported that a blue pickup went by his house and shot out his truck window and possibly shot his house as well. City units and an officer responded. The vehicle was a blue or green small Chevrolet truck with chrome grab handles. It was shot with an Airsoft gun. Officers were attempting to locate the vehicle.
A caller early Monday morning at Highway 22 in Riverside reported a subject kicking her car and taking the mirrors off. Two officers responded. The caller was requesting extra patrol and did not want to press charges.
Welfare check
An officer reported being out at a residence in reference to a welfare check after being flagged down about a small child near the road, Sunday morning at North Marion Avenue in Washington. Contact was made, and the caretaker was unaware that the child had gone around front and out of the backyard.
All other theft
A caller Sunday night at East Main Street in Washington reported that his 1961 Harley-Davidson was stolen from the residence. Dispatch spoke with the caller and entered the vehicle into the system.
All other offenses
A caller Sunday afternoon at Highway 92 in Washington requested an officer for a subject who had been at the store for a few hours. He was in their vestibule with his bicycle and was making customers nervous. Officers responded. The subject was going to move on.
A caller Sunday evening at Highway 1 and Highway 92 in Washington reported that he knocked over a telephone stand-up box in the ditch by the north junction. An officer was advised. The caller planned to call the telephone company.
A caller Sunday night at East Washington Street in Washington reported a male subject with a bicycle sleeping on a couch in the Stewart Hall lobby. Officers responded and advised the subject to leave.
A caller Sunday night at West Adams Street in Washington requested an officer due to people outside his residence. An officer responded and spoke with the caller, who advised that a neighbor was making threats. The officer went to that residence, and the subject in question was not there.
