Jury considers murder case against Techel
OTTUMWA (AP) ? A jury has been handed the case against a man charged with killing his pregnant wife at their home near Agency.
Final arguments were completed Monday in the trial of Seth Techel, who is charged with the May 26 murder and nonconsensual termination of a human pregnancy.

OTTUMWA (AP) ? A jury has been handed the case against a man charged with killing his pregnant wife at their home near Agency.
Final arguments were completed Monday in the trial of Seth Techel, who is charged with the May 26 murder and nonconsensual termination of a human pregnancy.
Prosecutors say Seth Techel wanted to end his marriage to Lisa Techel but feared alienation from her father, a sheriff?s deputy. Seth Techel?s lawyer has ridiculed the police investigation and suggested a neighbor may have killed Lisa Techel.
Both Techels worked in law enforcement. Lisa Techel was a reserve deputy and Seth Techel was a jailer.
