Juvenile injured in bicycle-car collision
A 14-year-old juvenile from Mt. Pleasant suffered minor injuries on Thursday, Aug. 11, when he struck a vehicle while riding his bicycle in Mt. Pleasant.
According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, the bicyclist was traveling southbound at 2:39 p.m., on Jay Street and failed to stop at the stop sign.

A 14-year-old juvenile from Mt. Pleasant suffered minor injuries on Thursday, Aug. 11, when he struck a vehicle while riding his bicycle in Mt. Pleasant.
According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department, the bicyclist was traveling southbound at 2:39 p.m., on Jay Street and failed to stop at the stop sign.
The bicyclist struck a motor vehicle, driven by Nancy McGohan, of Mt. Pleasant, who was traveling westbound on Madison Street.
The juvenile was transported by ambulance to the Henry County Health Center for treatment.
