JV boys defeat Marion to end season at .500
The Mt. Pleasant JV boys? basketball team ended its season with a 42-35 win against Marion to improve to 9-9 on the year.

Zach Mulford led all scorers with 17 points, followed by Dustin Amos and Carson Remick with 14 and nine points, respectively.
Ben Canby and Remick each had five rebounds.
Beau Parkevich had three assists and six steals. Mulford and Amos each added three steals.
Other team members were Nathan McConnell, Kyle Kauffman, Nike Phillips, Kolby Raymond, Spencer White, Brady Anderson, Marcus Moothart, Justin Griffis, Tyler Ruby, Dylan Smith and Tyler Pace.
?There is a lot of talent in this group and if they stick together and put in the work, they should have another good season next year,? Rodgers said.
