KCTC and Aureon award charity grant to nursing home
Sep. 6, 2022 11:04 am
WASHINGTON — Kalona Cooperative Technology Company (KCTC) and Aureon have announced that United Presbyterian Home (UP Home) is a 2022 Charity Grant recipient. The $750 grant was presented in conjunction with KCTC, which sponsored the application and plans to match the monetary award.
Upon reviewing an abundance of applications, the Aureon Charity Grant Committee delegated funds to projects committed to the betterment of local Iowa communities.
This grant to the UP Home will enable them to upgrade their current phone system. Moving to a Voice over Internet Protocol (or VoIP) phone service will effectively improve communication across their campus and create a more efficient work environment.
“KCTC appreciates the efforts of UP Home,” KCTC General Manager Casey Peck said. “Their passion and dedication to our community has a tremendous impact. We are proud to partner with Aureon to make this grant possible.”
Scott Behn, CEO of Aureon, agreed.
“At Aureon, we know the importance of our rural Iowa communities,” he said. “That is why we are dedicated to supporting the nonprofit organizations that bring forth these community-improvement projects that will help these communities thrive. We look forward to aiding future projects that are sure to positively impact rural Iowans.”
