Keosauqua woman rescued from vehicle
A Keosauqua woman was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City Monday after being trapped in her vehicle two days.
The accident involving 29-year-old Emily Ann Borgomainerio was reported by a third party to the Van Buren County Sheriff?s Office around 3 p.m. Borgomainerio was found conscious and alert, pinned in her vehicle on Hawk Drive, northeast of Keosauqua.

A Keosauqua woman was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City Monday after being trapped in her vehicle two days.
The accident involving 29-year-old Emily Ann Borgomainerio was reported by a third party to the Van Buren County Sheriff?s Office around 3 p.m. Borgomainerio was found conscious and alert, pinned in her vehicle on Hawk Drive, northeast of Keosauqua.
Borgomainerio was freed from her Ford Contour with Jaws of Life extraction equipment. She confirmed the accident had occurred early Saturday morning.
Van Buren County deputies, Keosauqua Fire Department and Van Buren County ambulance all responded to the accident, which remains under investigation.
