WASHINGTON — The Kirkwood Washington Regional Center will host a car show on Thursday, coordinated by Corn Country Cruisers at the building’s west side.
Organizers said the affair was an educational opportunity for those studying and working with vehicles at the college through the Automotive Technology Academy.
“Volunteers from the Corn Country Cruisers (visit) the Washington County Regional Center to meet with students interested in the automotive industry, show their cars and trucks from the past, and give the students the opportunity to ask them questions about the processes they have taken to restore the vehicles,” a news release from the regional center said. “Students are able to see changes that have taken place over the years with engine components and advances in technology.”
The event is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 13, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Kirkwood’s Washington Regional Office.
