Kiwanis Club slide
Fairfield Kiwanians John Reeves, left, and Dick Bogner put the finishing touches on a new slide in Howard Park Thursday afternoon. After Reeves and Bogner were done with the leveling, the postholes were filled with concrete. The Fairfield Kiwanis Club volunteers completed the project in a day, with the help of donated heavy equipment from Schaus Vorhies Contracting Inc.
