Kiwanis donates to accessible playground
WASHINGTON — Noon Kiwanis Club President Jenny Morgan presented Washington Parks Superintendent Nick Pacha with a $25,000 check for a proposed new playground at the Wellness Park.
“We worked hard at the county fair, we took all our money and decided we wanted to make sure the kids now and for years to come have a safe, ADA playground in Washington,” Morgan said. “Thank you to all that ate and supported us at our fair booth this year and in the past, we couldn't do it without all your support and loyalty! We are proud to fling burgers and shakes at the fair so we can sponsor projects like this."
