How will your high school experiences help you in coming years?
My high school experience will help me greatly in my coming years. While being a student in high school, I have learned that it is very important to be responsible and held accountable to make sure you get your work done in time. I also have learned that it is very important to be on time to things.
Fondest memory of high school?
This year being conference champions in both volleyball and basketball. Ever since us seniors were in fourth grade we have been working hard. We knew by the time we were seniors that we wanted to achieve something special. This year in volleyball and basketball we had undefeated conference seasons and become conference champions!
Which teacher has had the biggest impact on your education and why?
Mr. McCarty is my Spanish teacher and he has had the biggest impact on my education. In his class we are always having fun and making jokes, while learning. So throughout my years of being a student in his class, I have learned that you can always have fun while getting things done and still be able to accomplish things.
Who is your role model and how did they influence you?
My role model is my aunt. My aunt has always been someone that I can count on to give me the best advice. She is also a kind hearted woman and will do anything for anyone. My aunt has also shown me how to be a hard worker. My aunt is one of my biggest supporters in my life.
What is special about your high school?
Something that is special about my high school is that it is small enough that you know mostly everyone in it. Walking down the halls from class to class you see faces and can say hi to anyone because you know who everyone is. It is also special because of the sports that my school has. I like going to a smaller school because you can be on any sports team that you would like to be on and be able to feel a part of it, even if it's playing time on the court or sitting on the bench cheering your team on.
If you could go back to when you were a freshman, what advice would you give yourself?
Don’t let anyone’s opinion affect the way you live your life.
