Law enforcement vigilance increases for holiday
Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office is participating in STEP Wave enforcement that begins today and runs through Sunday.
Law enforcement officers will have heightened enforcement for intoxicated drivers, seat belt use, speeding, suspended drivers, narcotics searches, other traffic violations and assisting motorists along Jefferson County roads during this week of the Fourth of July holiday.
